Benefits & Perks
Five good reasons why Freelance Staffing is a family-friendly employer
The following overview of your benefits and perks will give you a good idea of why we are known as an employee-centered staffing firm. It will also help you understand why so many people stay with us for so long and why most of our employees come from referrals…
Boost your pay with your Flextime Bonus
Freelance Staffing employees can earn bonus pay equal to 2% of earnings when you meet certain requirements. This pay can be enjoyed as paid time off or even as an added bonus. We reward employees who:
- Make it to work every day
- Work full shifts
- Work safely
- Schedule personal business after work hours
- Remain employed with Freelance Staffing
Lower your taxes with the Flex Plan (Health Cafeteria Plan)
Freelance Staffing has a Flexible Benefits Plan which allows you to pay many of your health and family-related expenses with pre-tax dollars. These expenses include:
- Health insurance premiums
- Daycare expenses
- Out-of-pocket medical expenses such as glasses, contacts, dental, prescription, etc.
Your employee handbook explains how the Flex Plan works, gives examples of how you might be able to use it and eligibility information.
Enjoy your Holidays a little more…
The following holidays are paid after 1,000 hours of on-going employment. Please read your employee benefits book for more details.
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
If the holiday falls on a weekend, the nationally observed day will be paid
Anniversary Bonus – our way of saying thank you…
The Anniversary Bonus is a nice reward we give employees for their loyalty. Each year, on the anniversary of your employment with us, you receive a $100 dollar bonus, a Certificate of Our Appreciation, and mention in the company newsletter.
And, of course, there’s everyone’s favorite benefit – Safe-T Bingo!
SAFE-T Bingo is an ongoing benefit for working safely. This is an opportunity for employees to win $100 or more each week. The catch?
- You must have at least 160 hours of employment with us (four weeks)
- You must not have a work-related injury during the period the game is being played for.
- And lastly, perfect attendance for that period doubles your winnings!
